I'm watching this right now, very interesting, especially if you're into off the grid living and the whole make/D.I.Y. scene:

I'm sorry so much of my youth was wasted in government indoctrination camps. I lack so many of the practical skills that generations before took for granted.

Be sure to add the rest of the parts to the OP if you find them. Thanks for sharing!

Seth, I have a spiritual question for you. Have you ever taken the time to wonder why people like us survived public education? Since you grew up with libertarian parents, I can see why you were able to get through it. I, on the other hand, did not come from such a background. My parents are not libertarians (hell, I think I'm the only libertarian in my family), I was never exposed to the ideas until I was much older, and aside from this group, I've never been exposed to many libertarian circles. So I ask again, why did we survive?

A lot of very notable AnCaps, such as Walter Block and Doug Casey, believe it is born within us. I'd like to understand how they came to that conclusion. Although it does seem to make sense. There are many people I've met that have been exposed to the truth, and genuinely know and understand it, but don't care to act on it in any way.

Long before I became an AnCap I read nearly all of the works of Hermann Hesse. He is still my favorite author. He wrote that there were "seekers" in the world and that when they come in contact with each other they are magnetically attracted. You can have a crowd full of people and the two seekers will recognize one another seemingly miraculously.

There are only so many of us on planet earth that are truly truth seekers. Truth seekers may never know the full truth, that is why they are seekers. But they are unafraid of where it leads and are willing to accept the fact that they are/have been wrong in the past.

Most people are unable to admit to themselves how horribly wrong they are. So when the truth confronts them, they reject it. I hope, and suspect, that if I stumble across something else down the line I will be unencumbered by my present ways and shed the past and move on to the newly discovered truth.

It is the path to enlightenment. Will we ever get there? Who knows? But we keep trying. That's what separates us from most.

Seth: Another way to put that in terms of the Myers-Briggs-Jung typology stuff in psychology particularly how it relates to what Dr. David. Keirsey has done with that theory....I would say that the "truth seekers" as you put it could be considered to be the "Rationals" as Keiresy called them or the "NT's" as Myers referred to them. I have taken the test numerous times and always score as the same variant of Rational....with the exact same preference strength...and this is on multiple websites not just the same site over and over again. But yeah that is another way to put it...and if that's the case than at MOST only 10% of the population could be considered "truth seekers"

I wanted to see the videos, but they are not readily visible in the first post anymore.  The quote below has them without the tags.

I'm sure AgoristTeen1994 has seen the thread years ago now, but for anyone that happens to be reading through this now:

Is there anyone on here that is off the grid?  I don't see why off grid is so commonly associated with subsistence living as in the first posts videos.
