Hehe, I never bothered to look into her.  Still, it was a pretty good presidential smack-down.

An 'Obama sucks' rant is always entertaining, regardless of the source.  In fact, its entertainingly ironic coming from a socialist party.

Socialism in Europe isn't as cut and dry as over here because everyone is more or less socialist.

The explanation I've heard is you can follow the American political spectrum from conservative to liberal/socialist.  You then start on the European political spectrum from conservatives that are left of the American left, to the left until you reach true communism and the like.  Not sure where Australia and the like end up, but that's America and Europe.  A socialist in Europe might actually end up a pariah on the right end of the spectrum, while still being socialist enough to be called socialist.
