What else is new?  Being rich is better than being poor.  That's reality.  Upper class neighborhoods get better police and fire protection under the government, too.  Wealthy people can afford newer, safer cars, full-coverage insurance, better medical care, better schools, better lawyers, gated communities, private security, burglar alarms, better guns and training, ad nauseum.

The cops don't do stop and frisks of rich white men walking through upper-class neighborhoods, either.  Want to own a machine gun, legally?  No problem, just lay out $20-50k.  Never ends. 

It's just reality.
