Okay I personally love the idea of the Leap Motion controller...and I can definitely admire the intellect behind the guys who designed it...but since 1. I'm pretty damn sure it's not open source hardware/software and 2. It only works on Windows and Mac OS X, I need to ask....Does ANYONE on here know of any plans to either "jailbreak" Leap Motion, or design an open-source version that would work with Linux?

You really haven't tried to Google: "leap motion linux driver"?  Looks like there are a few tutorials. YMMV.

Thanks I hadn't thought of that....then again when I had posted it I was running on 3 hours of sleep in 48 hours.
