Hello everyone. Today marks this most regal and grandiose of days, my nineteenth birthday. On this day, April 7, 1994 (yes the same day the Rwandan Genocide/Civil War began  Roll Eyes ) at 5:01 AM genius incarnate was born.

There, now that all that false arrogance is through I can get to the sincere stuff. I'm happy to have marked another year on this hellhole of a planet with the last few having been as an libertarian and the past 2 and a half years as an anarchist. I also got a completely fantastic surprise on Friday. You see most of you who were here before my most recent posts were aware that due to some...issues, I was on felony probation with the State of Michigan. Assuming I had completed all of the requirements, I would I would be able to finish by this June, though if I had finished earlier I could have had it done by December...but anyway when I showed up to my monthly meeting with my probation officer on Friday, that I had rescheduled a day later than usual due to higher-priority obligation I got a surprise. Now you see when I started my probation, my probation officer was an old Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army and a complete hard ass who took things to extremes. However I was surprisingly transferred to a new and much more lenient/easy-going probation officer. Despite that I know that if I pushed the line I'd have my conditional plea bargain revoked and my ass in the state prison for 2 years with a felony on my record for the rest of my life. Thus imagine my shock, that when I showed up for the meeting Friday morning my probation officer handed me a paper that showed I was being discharged, and that the State of Michigan had determined I had completed the requirements of the probation, and with it the plea bargain that leaves me a (officially) clean record, even though I still had the 80 hours of community service to do. That seriously improved my mood, especially since it meant that I could legally get my guns back from my uncle's house, and leave/return to the state at my leisure.

So yeah an awesome weekend for me with an unexpected but pleasant surprise albeit one that doesn't improve my view of ideology of statism at all. The cake my grandma made, is quite good too. Smiley

Happy Birthday, dude!

Does this mean you're finally going to leave that shithole called Michigan?

Happy Birthday, dude!

Does this mean you're finally going to leave that shithole called Michigan?

For visits to other parts of the country and potentially the world? Of course. To move out and find residence in another state mostly likely either Wyoming or New Hampshire? Maybe. While I would love to do so, I have obligations, mostly of the familial nature. If it was just my mom, or the majority of the relatives on my dad's side, I'd say they can go to hell and fuck themselves a rusty metal spork, on the way to help, and for all eternity, for all I care. However it's not them...it's my paternal grandma who raised me since my dad died and was more of mom than my own mom. So I even though physically I could just leave her....ethically I can't. At least for right now. And she refuses to move to another state, so there is no way I could get her to move to NH, let alone Wyoming with me. So until she's either 1. willing to move, or 2. deceased, with the latter being the much more likely event that will allow me to leave.

Taking this moving issue a little extreme I think.

Happy birthday and congrats!  I feel old now.

71 she'll be 72 in a couple months. And not really. more than 40 years of smoking, with a few years of non-smoking breaking up the stretch and a lifetime of heavy stress are catching up to her.

Taking this moving issue a little extreme I think.

Happy birthday and congrats!  I feel old now.

Thank you. And yes Seth might be taking it a little extreme Tongue

Go raibh maith agat (That's thank you in Irish Gaelic) and I'll definitely try to visit. As I said to Seth, moving to NH is out of the question, for now, VISITING on the other hand isn't. So I shall try to make it.

Grats.

Thanks.
