I thought you guys would find this interesting:
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=341676799263992&set=a.178035502294790.36582.178016715630002&type=1&theater

His name is Tom Davis, and in 2014, he will be running to take the seat of Satan worshiper Graham. He's currently attending Mises Academy online and nearly done with a class on Rothbard's analysis of the state.

I know we still have some time until 2014, but I found this to be pretty badass. It really goes to show the effects we're having. I would love to have the chance to vote for him.

Politics is like the Matrix for us.  We think we are on the outside.  We think we are free from the machine.  We actually are just in another layer of control.

That little glimmer of hope will string along countless people.

I know what you're saying. But think of it like this: Dr. Paul used the Matrix to his own advantage. Through politics, he woke up thousands of people. Perhaps he can do the same.

The power of the Matrix can be molded to our own ends. Ron proved that in a way that no individual has.

That's like saying Ronald Reagan was useful for preventing people ever attempting a libertarian society.

Which simply isn't the truth. Yes, the Reaganites were (are), at first, just using libertarian rhetoric without knowing what the words meant...but as time has gone on the newer generation has actually learned about Mises, Friedman and Rothbard and become ACTUAL libertarians.

Give it a few generations and I guarantee the people who harken back to the days of Ron Paul will be AnCap's.

Not even going to bother clicking the link. Don't bother with it. It's just another politician that will get your hopes up only to bring them crashing down when they either lose because the human race doesn't want freedom, or when you find out they're just like every other scum sucking turncoat out there.

Or he is another Ron Paul, gets elected, but is completely ineffectual against the other 434 stooges in Congress.
