 Surprised this hasn't been brought up before. With tax day right around the corner, I thought it would be a good idea to report on an up-and-coming bill before the Deathstar called 1813. Under the guidance of the bill, individuals with back taxes (it doesn't matter what the amount is) can have their passports revoked. In short, people can be permanently imprisoned in Amerika for as long as the government deems fit.

Easy solution. Leave now. In Acapulco at the moment. Totally awesome. Article to follow when I return to Alaska to pack my bags and move to Canada permanently (with vacations to Mexico before something longer term).

Hold on a sec. Why are you moving to Canada? Jeff Berwick, the host of TDV, is in Mexico because of their lack of taxing. Canada is still socialistic in many regards.

The IRS doesn't have jurisdiction in Canada or Mexico...

I am in Mexico now. It's awesome. Canada is where I am moving to work. My free time will be spent in Mexico here, till I move permanently. :-)
