Large sections of the beaches are privately owned and only selected venders (like the ones selling cigars and food) are allowed to enter.

There were clear delineations around these areas and a very tranquil environment.

Early on, right after reading The Ethics of Liberty, I decided to fundamentally question anarcho-capitalism and I stumbled across this piece which gave me food for thought for a couple weeks.

http://anarchism.pageabode.com/afaq/rothbard-we-must-therefore-conclude-that-we-are-not-anarchists

Correctly, the author (and Rothbard) note that the term "Anarchy" came from socialist european roots. Anarcho-Capitalism by comparison is a "new creation" (Rothbard's own essentially) which makes the battling over labels especially silly. Almost as dumb as arguing over who the "real patriots" are.

Who cares who the "real" anarchists are? If we as individuals believe in certain things (like NAP/etc) and can package our entire ideology into a single label or word, we're probably not deep enough to make useful arguments and be taken seriously in the first place.

Your interview was awesome Seth! Many minds in radioland were completely blown by it (especially the first bit where you're discussing anarchism and rights).

Seth, Jeff Berwick says he loves your site but wishes you had more front page content. Me too. :-)

Working on a bit about my visit to Aca for you. Will not post it anywhere in any form until you've approved/rejected it. ;-)

Use the GSM network for comms, or just preprogram the GPS coordinate of the delivery location and have the vehicle deliver there then return home. You rarely need comms to the vehicle if it is truly autonomous.

and would have continued thinking conservativerepublican was a real person. That's what I find most disturbing.

He is a real person (just not the particular one posting here). There are millions like him. That's the disturbing part.

Lol! A friend and I suspected it was a griefing account.

There are probably 100 private hobbyist drones for every government drone. It can be done quickly and cheaply. It is the solution to Agorism's main problem.

Get started.

Want to erase borders? It ain't going to happen with politics, but it probably will with unmanned aircraft. Embrace or resist the technology ... it is going to happen anyway.
40  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Moving to New Hampshire, finally. on: April 23, 2012, 12:51:19 AM
I am planning on being at PorcFest this year as I'll just be living a few hours north of there.

I am trying to get a few of my friends from AK to join, two of whom are forum members. Should be fun!

This'll give Seth another chance to sell me on New Hampshire Wink and I can tell everyone how living in Kanada is and share my experience from my time down here in Acapulco with Jeff Berwick.

The IRS doesn't have jurisdiction in Canada or Mexico...

I am in Mexico now. It's awesome. Canada is where I am moving to work. My free time will be spent in Mexico here, till I move permanently. :-)

Easy solution. Leave now. In Acapulco at the moment. Totally awesome. Article to follow when I return to Alaska to pack my bags and move to Canada permanently (with vacations to Mexico before something longer term).

Kevin Costner actually had a movie about this.

If you build it (the compound) they (the agents) will come.

Be sure to call it Jonesville for me. Great double meaning out of that one.

Few of the types of people who join militias are anti-war. They believe that constitutional pixie dust makes killing foreigners ok, just like most of them believe that so-called constitutional tariffs and excise taxes used to fund the criminals who founded the "United States" are a 100% legit morally sound way to support their dream state. They are so far from voluntaryism it's silly.

I have a challenge that I will continue to issue. If you believe in "armed resistance" (i.e. assisted suicide) move to Oakland. Oakland has the highest concentration of fully automatic gun owners, probably the highest concentration of anti-state people living there (tho with no sound philosophical alternative), and probably among the largest black markets of any city in North America.

Sounds right up your alley Infowarrior. The dream of the violent protestor is alive in Oakland!
