1201  Questions And Challenges / Challenges To Anarcho-Capitalism / Re: Why I am not (quite) an anarchist on: March 02, 2012, 02:14:03 PM
I don't identify as a full blooded an-cap either. I see myself as being more of a radical minarchist with some an-cap tendencies. One of the reasons why I still support the good doctor.
1202  General Category / General Discussion / Re: A Non-Voting Anarchist. . .Voting? on: March 02, 2012, 02:04:33 PM
The terms "liberal" and "conservative" no longer have any inherent difference in the political mainframe. Both sides have proven that they support the same statist policies as everyone on the other side of their spectrum. Just look at the seemingly unlimited correlations that exist between Bush and Obama. The terms are used as a psy op. Their purpose is to make people think that they have a difference come election time, but the truth is that, with the exception of Paul, it's just the same shit from two different sides of the aisle. It's one of the primary reasons why I won't vote for anyone other than Ron. As the saying goes, "Ron Paul or not at at all!"

What's sad is that when I was at my state's caucus a few weeks ago, people who said they supported Ron Paul stated that they would still vote for one of the other Republican candidates if they won. I tried explaining to them that with the exception of the good doctor, both sides of the spectrum are controlled by the same forces, but to no avail. If voting for Paul is an example of non-aggression on my part, then I'm happy to do it.

I was in class, so I didn't have time to participate in it. :C Like Ron Paul, I have no doubt that Tom is a closet anarcho capitalist as well. Hell, he wanted to name his latest book, "Rollback", "Why we should abolish everything". By the way, everyone here should read Rollback. Excellent book.

1205  General Category / General Discussion / New study confirms that humans are not violent by nature on: February 29, 2012, 06:25:58 PM
A new psychological study has found that animals, by nature will seek to merge with each other into peaceful groups to form a mutal benefit society within their species. Once again, proving wrong the nay sayers that we are not inherently violent.

Seth, I have a spiritual question for you. Have you ever taken the time to wonder why people like us survived public education? Since you grew up with libertarian parents, I can see why you were able to get through it. I, on the other hand, did not come from such a background. My parents are not libertarians (hell, I think I'm the only libertarian in my family), I was never exposed to the ideas until I was much older, and aside from this group, I've never been exposed to many libertarian circles. So I ask again, why did we survive?

If you've used Google in the past for searchers, today is the last day for you to clear your web history before Google merges your past into one whole database. If you don't want your information being used, follow the steps provided in the link.

What's interesting about Reagan is that he was good friends with Dr. Paul. Ronald, apparently, supported many of Ron's ideals, and supposedly agreed with him that libertarianism was the purest form of government. Guess things took a U-turn there.
1210  General Category / General Discussion / Re: What kinds of things do YOU buy with bitcoin? on: February 27, 2012, 12:42:50 PM
Once Bitcoin finally finishes its (long) download process, I'll use my discount to buy one of the flags from the store. Aside from that, I'll to look hard for other things.

The authorities would more than likely break the phone if they counldn't access it via password.

^Ah, but you see, that's the thing. The corporate, government run media has been trying to discredit Paul for quite some time, and their efforts have been in vain. Their first attempt involved ignoring him. Scientific studies proved that Ron Paul was getting the least amount of air time. After that plan didn't work out, they moved on to plan B, which forced them to attack Paul head on. They did this bringing up falsifications about his past (i.e. the so-called racist articles that have been proven wrong time and time again). Both of these actions have failed miserably, and the corporate media is slowly running out of options. That's why so many people are beginning to worry about Dr. Paul's physical safety. If the media can't bring him down on a spiritual level, then the steps after that could be much worse. That is why I think Dr. Paul needs extra security.

^Hell, he would be killed if he got the nomination on the spot. The Establishment is scared shitless of Paul. They never thought his message would get this far, and seeing him in the White House would be the biggest negation for them since, well, ever.

I think that's one of the primary reasons Paul has said he can't see himself in the White House. He knows the history, he understands the people, and has seen their actions. The man has guts, guts that I would never be able to show.

A few months ago, one of the heads of Russia said that he saw a document indicating a kill order that was placed on Ron Paul. I don't know how true it is, but if it is real, something major is going on.

1215  General Category / General Discussion / Bitcoin is taking forever to sync!!! on: February 24, 2012, 03:59:45 PM
I just downloaded Bitcoin, but can't do anything with it because the damn program is refusing to sync. It's been stuck on 0% syn for over 15 min. now, and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the program as a whole. What am I doing wrong here?
