If agreed upon, it would mark the beginning of a Wall Street style environment for Bitcoin.

It seems to me that most of the hate for the reporter is stemming from the fact that she posted an image of his house for the world to see without his permission. No self-respecting journalist goes and does something like that. Then again, the world of mainstream journalism is pretty much dead.

I mean, his personality and background match someone who would invent something like Bitcoin. Eccentric, libertarian, crazy about encryption and security. Top that with a background in physics and computer science, and...I really don't know. Guys, this really could be him.

^Ah, I remember seeing that study. I can't say I'm surprised. Statism is a such a vile mental disorder that still plagues many, so this type of behavior, especially when you correlate it to the sociopathic conditions, makes sense.
8  General Category / Lounge / A new Matrix Trilogy MIGHT be in the works... on: March 02, 2014, 07:55:11 PM
Note the emphasis on the word 'might'. According to Latino Review--a site known for being accurate when spilling the beans on rumors--a new Matrix series might be in development. rumors are flowing that this new trilogy might be a prequel to the original three films, focusing on the early stages of the robot wars and the development of the Matrix. This, of course, does make sense, since The Architect does say at the end of the series that Neo was not the first One to stand up to the machines. Also, at the end of Revolutions, we see the Matrix reset, meaning that concepts can not only be rebooted, but added in as well.

Well, I don't know if any reason either.
11  General Category / Lounge / Re: What's the best torrenting software? on: February 23, 2014, 01:47:26 AM
OK. Well now it's detecting the IP. I must not have been running the test right. My bad.

OK. Let me ask this. I have the option of setting up a proxy in my torrent client to run through the VPN channel. Is there really any need to do this?
12  General Category / Lounge / Re: What's the best torrenting software? on: February 23, 2014, 01:40:27 AM
And that's what I expect as well. If I torrent, why would my client have a separate IP address from that routes me into the internet? The program is using the same info as my computer, right?
13  General Category / Lounge / Re: What's the best torrenting software? on: February 23, 2014, 01:20:27 AM
According to a site that detects torrent ips, my torrent program is still connected to my standard ip that's still located in the U.S.

^I've done that and it does check out. With that in mind, why is it that every site out there is telling me that I have to manually configure my torrent client with vpn?
15  General Category / Lounge / Re: What's the best torrenting software? on: February 22, 2014, 08:26:46 PM
Guys, I have a question in regards to all this. I currently signed up for a PIA VPN and have successfully connected my internet connection to it. However, when I try to set the proxy settings in Deluge to it, I keep being told that my torrent IP is still connected to the US. Is there a way to fix this? I have the ports set to 1080.
