The world revolves around my bellybutton, not yours.  My world.  I am at peace.  Therefore we have world peace.  Sam

This is obviously wrong.  Clearly, the world revolves around MY bellybutton, not yours.

But don't you see, my friend?  Knowing that your world revolves around your belly-button (whether you admit it or not) is what gives me world peace!

But "society" is a lifeless, brainless abstraction.  The only society I can change is me.  If you are enthusiastic about a counter economy, support your local prostitute -- or your drug dealer.  They'll show you how it's done.

I don't know why you want to fill any town halls, but if you're "running" for office you've got me scared.  Sam

This is old.  But so am I.  So why not???

I tend to refrain from internet "pledges" or "challenges" or "covenants".  If my word isn't good, these kinds of posts won't change anything.  If my word is good -- or if you trust that my word is good -- you don't need my solemn oath to make it any better.  I also take no "oaths" in the white man's "court".

I think it's enlightening to watch the "electile dysfunction" play out.  Last time I voted was 1964, for Barry Goldwater.  Each bread and circus event since I've suspected might be the last.  In time the beast will collapse and consume itself in its attempt to get free and not forfeit "rulership".

I do highly recommend that you abstain from beans, however.

Just sayin'.  Sam

I herewith proclaim world peace, since the world revolves around my belly-button -- not yours.  My world.

Fascinating it might be.  But all government incursion into the marketplace is destructive and counterproductive.  Minimum wage "law" is perhaps among the most egregious intrusions, because it eliminates jobs and curtails trade all the way around.

Whenever the marketplace is attacked by psychopaths http://agoracosmopolitan.com/home/Frontpage/2008/01/02/02073.htmlhiding under the mantle of "state", poor people become poorer.

I congratulate you for delving into "Human Action".  I've read highlights, put it down as a "must read", but have procrastinated taking it on stem-to-stern.

I like to recommend John Hasnas' treatise, "The Obviousness of Anarchy" ( http://faculty.msb.edu/hasnasj/GTWebSite/Obvious.pdf )-- particularly the first 10 or so paragraphs, which serve to introduce anarchy to those not familiar with the way of living.

This is my first post on Daily Anarchist.  I read an essay by Wendy McElroy on IP recently that was posted here, and decided I'd check it out.

Last time I voted was 1964, for Barry Goldwater.  My children are avid Ron Paul supporters.  I support my children.  I've met both Dr Paul and Mrs Paul and find them to be delightful folks.  I would not hesitate to refer my daughters-in-law (and now granddaughters and granddaughters-in law) to his OBGYN care.  I wish he would go back into medical "practice" (whatever that's supposed to mean) where he could do some good and give up hoping for political solutions.

That would be my only agreement with Apollo (and a very oblique agreement at that):  that Ron Paul looks for political solutions for problems instigated by agents of state vis a vis their drug "war".  Of course he says, "...if elected I will end the drug war..." (or infers same).

But Grand Wizard of the Klan is still subject to The Klan.

Go back to doctering, Ron Paul, and leave   The Klan to implode.  Sam
