Did you install the propietary drivers? Usually the drives that come with the installation can only run low resolutions.
3  Videos / Anarcho-Capitalist Videos / Re: Adam Kokesh: "Anarcho-Capitalists are the real anarchists" on: August 14, 2012, 08:10:07 AM
An coms are destructive, violent individuals, and the more I look at things, the more I realize that Adam is right. A cap is the only morale and rational stateless position. Ancom is a relic of the past that needs to be forgotten.

You've clearly met the wrong kind of "an coms". That sounds nothing like the rational people that through dialogue converted me to mutualism. Sometimes I get the feeling that the red scare is still going strong in the states. As much as mention socialism and a 100 libertarians jump in to tell you how bad socialism is. I'm a socialist. I considered myself a voluntary socialist even when I labeled myself as anarcho-capitalist. I do not in any way seek to violently enforce my beliefs on other people. Rather I believe in social change through dialogue, education, activism and leading by example. There are a lot of good socialist ideas that even anarcho-capitalists could get behind. Don't turn this into a second reddit please. Theres enough circlejerk on the /r/anarcho-capistlism subreddit.

Therefore, I don't want naked women or other images that are likely to turn women off.

OMG I come back to the forums after a few months and I missed all the naked ladies? NOOOOOOOO! Not all women aren't turned off by images of naked women you know Wink.

Joking aside, I think any kind of smut/porn on a site thats mostly about serious discussion, activism and anarchism would turn me off. I'm all for being sex positive but its just way off-topic and inapropriate for this forum. If I want to see porn there are plenty of other places I could go.

It's going downhill fast here.
6  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Isn't it a great feeling. . . on: April 09, 2012, 04:23:37 AM
...think about all of the pervs who would convert to anarchism if a really hot girl was the new face of anarchism...
I hope what fuels the anarchist movement isn't something as base as sex.
What are we talking about again?

Boobies, we are talking about boobies.
7  General Category / General Discussion / Re: HAPPY EASTER! on: April 08, 2012, 05:23:37 PM
I had a 2PM dinner with my family. That's how I celebrate I guess. I'm not religious though.
Kind of an early time to eat dinner...

Dinner=lunch in a lot of places.

And then the evening meal is called "supper" usually, I think.

Not religious. But since it is still a bank holiday in my country me and the family usually have a nice brunch/lunch (we don't get up early enough for a breakfast on a holiday Tongue). Not this year though.

Anarcho-capitalism is spreading mainly through the internet, at least from my experience, and the majority of internet users (outside of mainstream social media sites like facebook, twitter, etc. where anarcho-capitalism is far rarer than the rest of the internet) are male, it is likely to stay that way. Sad

There are few of us around on these forums. I know some other women that are active in the ancap section of reddit.

I think there are reasons there are fewer women that consider themselves ancaps. I think I've voiced before my theory that it is mainly the rhetoric. The arguements used to convince other people that ancaps use I think appeal primarly to men.

It doesn't help that the range of people calling themselves ancaps is very wide. There are some people on this forum that I outright disagree with on certain issues. I've even met people (on reddit) who style themselves "ancap" that I would avoid, rather then associate with them. I guess its why I consider myself more a mutualist then an anarcho-capitalist. Though I certainly don't consider myself "opposed" to anarcho-capitalism.

Not to mention that to some women it will just be intimidating to enter a "male dominated" movement.
10  Questions And Challenges / Questions About Anarcho-Capitalism / Re: mutualism on: April 02, 2012, 05:17:45 PM
I believe they are, thats why I am a mutualist. Only time will tell I guess.
11  Questions And Challenges / Questions About Anarcho-Capitalism / Re: mutualism on: March 25, 2012, 09:07:34 AM
would a market become mutualist via competition?

Mutualism is a market based ideology that focusses on small bussiness and cooperation, rather then competition. It's more socialisticly oriented then capitalism. It does however not "forbid" competition.

In fact. Mutualism is all about competing with capitalist bussinesses. The mutualists seek social change through competition with the establishment.

Wait, the US has a draft?

No, but we have a system in place so that if there was a 'need' it could be started up at a moments notice.

Right. We have the same thing here. I got my summons around age 17/18. Funnily enough the draft is only for "men". Since my government has coerced me into that category, if they ever choose to draft me into the army I'll (probably) be the only draftee with tits.

Not that I'd go anyway. I'd dodge it like my dad did Tongue. He's such an anarchist and doesn't even know it. He's certainly a libertarian though.

-Consequentialist vs. Deontological

I'd be especially interested in your thoughts on these two subjects. Your in favor of the deontological position, correct?

I'd also love to see you try and 'disprove' mutualism. Come at me bro Tongue

I don't quite know how one disproves an idealogy. But we're about to find out Tongue.

Not quite sure where I fit in ethically. My view on things seems most closely related to ethical egoism, which is apperently consequentialist. But my knowledge on formal ethics pretty much comes from wikipedia

I'd feed my baby raw milk. Human milk...
