I punched a tree today...

It just barely had it's first major version release after I think 6 or so years of beta. It is truly Anarchy in a game. Although some laws of nature are not up to reality. We also enjoy Garrys Mod for creating things which is much more realistic, anyways.

Try seed 'oooorgle' when creating a new world. It's a mountain world with a NPC village and the Stronghold close to the main spawn point. It also rains, a lot, but no snow.

Before you choose a world to build your ideas in, be sure to learn what a 'seed' is and come up with one that you like. A seed is basically a world generated by a phrase or text you give it when beginning to build the world from. Each different input will produce a different world with varying terrain and weather etc. Some give big mountains, others give low valleys or lots of snow or ocean. I have no clue on whats what but if you google it you will find youtube vids of people showing off their favorite seeds.

Enjoy, and as many in Minecraft say, "if you don't like the lay of the land, punch it with your fist until it looks right".
167  Questions And Challenges / Questions About Anarcho-Capitalism / Re: Child Labor in a Free Society on: November 20, 2011, 11:19:45 AM
My quick opinion is that children have preferences just like all these selfish adults that get paid to dramatize how to manage them like Sheep. Except many struggle or fail to determine the difference between a moral and a preference. If coercion or violence are used to make anyone do anything, well, am I preaching to the choir here? Children are rarely allowed to truly have say in their own lives, and not accepting that in ours could certainly lead to many abusive scenarios. Complicating a discussion without addressing the aggression that has been initiated will lead to things like Politics and Global Studies.

Labor is useful, coerced child labor is not child labor, but child slavery, like compulsory education. Ask the child if he wishes to participate and discuss the benefits and costs. They work harder that way  Grin
168  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Voluntary contract only when both parties understand the details of the contact? on: November 15, 2011, 09:23:09 AM
I do not pretend to comprehend or be able to define the Motor Vehicles Act though I did sign up for a drivers license. If I expect to comprehend contract wording and see a word I am not sure of it's definition, you first find the definition in English and Legalese (Blacks law 3rd etc). Then you deduce the assumptions that the definition rests upon, and then implications that are created standout. You then will better comprehend the meaning of a word and how it is being used for, or against you.
169  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Using charity to spread the message on: November 02, 2011, 06:01:40 PM
If pressed to class myself by someone then I will be a Voluntaryist. It is easy to bring up the non-aggression principle as there are few conflicts that do not involve NAP. Charity is something I find harder and harder to provide in any real way because of violations of the NAP by mostly, government. Next I would have to say those in need often are stuck in deep paradigms when it comes to advocating that others than themselves be robbed.

It is surprising there are not more of these and I hope this one will inspire victims. Much respect to the girl for releasing this. This is how I and my siblings were raised then. The wrath of the belt and wooden spoon. This is not how I or any of my sibling raise our own children now. We raise Anarchists!  Grin
171  Questions And Challenges / Questions About Anarcho-Capitalism / Re: How to deal with the dangerous mentally ill on: October 31, 2011, 08:07:14 PM
My opinion is that the amount of ostracization one experiences would be one way to attempt to identify crazies. DRO's could deal with individuals that perhaps cannot provide personal references or other sorts of references. Not thought through that much but, I do my best not to judge someone other than their behavior and essentially there would have to be a violation of NAP otherwise it may well be ostracization.

Something to consider for sure. Thanks.

Ask him what the Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports are and why he will never, ever, talk about them...

Ask him who he represents, who the judge represents, who the appointed council represents.
Where does all of these three paychecks derive from?
Ask him what he means when he signs as the STATE OF "".
Ask him what is the STATE OF "".
Ask him if we are entitled to a fair trial.

Have you ever listened to or read any of Marc Stevens material? MarcStevens.net. I would recommend it.
