Guerrero is being contested in a similar manner. Chiapas already has autonomy and is organized according to libertarian socialist principles. With the anarchists there resisting State and Cartel forces (Sinaloa Fed, Zetas).

Fighting is brutal down there.

EDIT: On the bright side Zetas have been taking heavy hits losing officers. And the Sinaloa Fed just lost their leader El Chapo Guzman. We'll have to wait and see if they kill him or if he escapes first.
