Keene Activist Center Operational

I remember a few months ago Keene resident Meg McLain was discussing opening a center for activists in the Keene, NH area. She was asking for name recommendations for Keene’s activist center and I remember throwing my recommendation of Liberty HQ out there. Nobody else thought that name was cool besides me. Oh well. I wasn’t the one opening the center. But I had definitely thought it a good idea for some time. Imagine having a central location where activists in your town hang out, collaborate, learn from each other, and have a place to engage in recreation. Well, Keene, NH has such a place and I have faith it will grow to be something quite amazing. I’m imagining seminar rooms, pool tables, ping pong tables, dart boards, a kitchen with full time cook, a bar and so much more. And what’s extra special is that the patrons are liberty lovers like yourself and the money you spend isn’t going to some owner who could care less about your cause.

Anyways, the center is ironically called the Keene Activist Center after all. See if you can spot some anarchist symbolism in this video. And just remember, the center is only in its infancy. It will grow, I assure you.

I’m in NC. Is there any thing I can offer the Keene Activist Center?

Hmm. I don’t know. Probably best to contact them directly. I don’t actually live in New Hampshire. I’m still in California. I’ve considered becoming a member of the activist center even though I don’t yet live there just to help them out. I might recommend doing the same, but perhaps only if you’re planning to move to New Hampshire yourself.
