I really did mean that as a joke, but occasionally even the blind monkey finds a peanut!

Seth,  did the custom shop give any reason why they would not make them?  It would seem the setup for the manufacturer would be a no-brainer. The pattern for a stock A-C flag is really no different than a standard naval semaphore flag (specifically, the letter "O"), with different colors, of course.   I can understand them having more of an issue with the gadsden, since the setup is a lot more complicated (though it looks great).

Or is this purely a materials issue?

Seth's going to be gone for a while FYI. Sure he'll answer when he has internet again though.

Departure time keeps getting delayed.  Undecided

I've contacted several custom flag makers. Most of them don't give me a reason. If you go online and search for custom flag makers there are TONS of businesses online. I began to suspect that they don't actually make the flags themselves, but outsource to China. So I decided to see if I could wholesale directly from China myself. It was possible, but they don't do cotton. Isn't that weird?

Anyways, if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. So, I figured I might as well go the distance and make them from home with the best possible materials. Demand isn't that high right now anyways so it is feasible that my mother make them all by hand. She could be the 21st century Betsy Ross.  Grin

Decided to, on my own, modify the Anarcho-Capitalist Gadsden to see what it would look like. I think it came out good, though I wonder if the white Ama-gi (for peace) clashes too much with the rattlesnake. The flag may be too 'busy', but I think its pretty.

Now, if only I could get this as an embroidered flag without it costing an arm and a leg. Cheesy

Seth, the flag looks great.

My only concern is that Tea Party idiots will think it's a Gadsden flag with a half black background.

Any chance of getting some that are just the plain black and yellow (gold)?

Hah! Yeah, it's not just Tea Partiers you have to worry about. A lot of liberals will think it's the same flag too, which is a real bummer. Oh well. The flag won't spread the message for us. We'll have to do it on our own.

Eventually I will get some straight up yellow and black flags as well. But I will also be ordering another special flag that will surely get people's attention and won't cause any confusion either!  Grin Stay tuned.

I smell hemp? put me down for one. Would the stiching hold up to a truck mount? IE. driving at 50 mph? I dont drive highways if I can avoid it.

Hemp is out. I couldn't make it feasible. Polyester makes for pretty good flags though. Check out what I'm selling in the STORE section.
