Has anyone here ever been to Comic-Con? It's a personal goal of mine to go one yr., and I'm interested to know if one of you guys has experienced before.

I've been to several furry cons over the years, almost always a blast.  Comic, anime, and sci-fi cons occur on regional and state levels too.  I'd suggest doing some searching and finding a smaller, closer con first, and enjoy that.  I much preferred the smaller cons over the big one really.  It's also much cheaper and easier to go.

By all means save up for Comic-Con, but you don't have to plunge in right away.

I've been to Gen-Con in Indy and Wizard World in Chicago.  I'd highly recommend a regional comic con to any and all who ask.
