Anybody have any predictions on what will happen with Assange? I've heard a lot of different predictions on the MSM. Curious what fellow anarchists think will happen.

I predict he will disappear, not under mysterious circumstances, but rather in the maze that is the bureaucratic jungle.  The statists want this guy to stop receiving headlines and as such, they will get their grubby hands on him and drag out a trial, charges, and it will be 10 years before we find out what his fate is.

The state's war is won by boring its detractors to death.

Well, if that's the case at least he can take solace in the fact that the state is diverting so many resources his way, while thousands of wannabe Assanges join the ranks.

Usually I have intuition or strong feelings about how certain things are going to turn out. In this case I am truly not getting any signals. It's a total crapshoot unknown to me. Should be interesting.

Good observations. It's true that governments are investing a lot of resources in trying to shut him down. I think it's a futile act of desperation though. Their last hopes of controlling information globally is to scare others out of becoming the new Assange. First, they may fail to stop Assange. Second, they aren't going to scare enough people. They can afford to spend so many resources on it and ignore others because they don't really expect to win anyways. Its gambling for resurrection, taking out the keeper at the end of a game to make a comeback. It won't work though. Wikileaks has leveled the playing field in a way that can't be reversed. A major blow has been dealt to governments everywhere, and especially the global government movement. Governments are falling behind (surprise, surprise...) the market's ability to provide people with invisibility.

I agree though, it's hard to see exactly how his case will end up. It's a good example of the effectiveness of monopoly justice systems. Does anyone actually take these allegations seriously? I mean, this narrative is straight out of a dystopian novel. Man challenges government, gets smeared.... wow I'm shocked....

So if we continue to read out of this narrative, we'd expect him to do prison time right? It's really hard to say though.
