Recently I've been thinking about moving to New Hampshire. It'll take me at least 3 years for me to be able to get there, but I certainly am thinking about it.

But there are a few things I want to find out about New Hampshire:
1. Is the land cheap? Not urban land, but rural land.
2. What are the gun laws like?
3. How's the fishing and hunting? I'm an outdoorsman, so good fishing and hunting are one of the most important things I want if I move to the 'shire.
4. Is Urban sprawl occurring there? In my home state of Illinois, farms are being replaced with strip malls and condominiums at extremely fast rates (part of why I'm an environmentalist). I don't want to buy a few acres and then have a housing development pop up and tell me I can't shoot shit on my property.
5. Lastly, is there anything else I should consider? Any other nice places that would fit my criteria?

Why will it take so long?  Money was my excuse but i feel so much better that i just did it.

Manchester seems like a suburb of boston and is too much town for my tastes.  Not sure about land prices but there is plenty of outdoorsy stuff in the north.

The research I've done indicates that you can get 12 acres of land for about 20,000 dollars.

Money, and a few other various things that I'm not really interested in going into detail about.

If any one knows of some very cheap land, let me know. I'd love to build a microcabin in NH.

Oh, I almost forgot: Are there rugby clubs in NH?
I play a lot of rugby. It's pretty important.
