 You may know about the shit storm that's brewing now that Obozo has declared support for gay marriage. However, as the controversy starts, what won't be focused on are the reasons why marriage laws even exist. LRC breaks it down for us:

It's kind of funny, gun laws were started for similar reasons, restricting guns based on race.
