I recently found an article by Brad Spangler about Proudhon's support for contract-based market courts, and it makes some interesting analysis. As Proudhon isn't really talked about in all Anarchist circles anymore, I thought I'd pass it along for anyone interested.

Market based courts are just authoritarianism by another name. Justice is illegitimate, whether created by the state or big corporations.

Community run justice might work, but even then, I am skeptical.

I understand how you can be opposed to justice through the state and big corporations, but what about small, local businesses?  And why are you even skeptical of Community run gustice? I'm not trying to flame, I"m just curious

Justice is illegitimate

Would you mind explaining this point? All of the Anarchists I've read support voluntarily funded means of retrieving stolen property, with many advocating this through independent arbitrators. How would "reversing" a theft be illegitimate? (Or am I misunderstanding you entirely?)

What about murder? It is impossible to reverse that.
If a community, created voluntarily, has a justice system, that only affects citizens of that community, that's fine. That's what I'd prefer.
