I only know of one santorum fan. No way he would convert. He falls into the camp of liking RP except on RPs lack of warmongering fetish.
I personally think RPs supporters should vote obama just to piss in the republicans cornflakes.. since it wont matter one way or the other.

I think anyone can convert, but they're the same as Obama supporters (in more way than one) in the fact that it will talk a long long time.

No Santorum supporter will ever leave neo-conservatism unless they are forced to seriously question their worldview. Unfortunately, Santorum's losing the primary isn't enough of a push.

The only way I can see it happening is if Santorum had won the primary, went on to become president, and then utterly betrayed everything he said he stood for, just the like the current and past presidents. Then you might get a handful to start questioning things and of those, a couple might wind up as ancaps.
That is how it went for me at least.

Not quite. They were born with perfectly functioning brains. They were just overwritten with magic chants and spells about holy ghosts when they were kids, stunting their intellectual growth. If you're forced into believing a bunch intangible nonsense, you will naturally cling to anything that makes sense at all. Government isn't a good idea, but at least it's something real, tangible, that actually exists. Attachment to the state went up as the kids desperately sought something to make their beliefs more grounded in reality. The two things they did every day were say the pledge and say their prayers...and if praying seems like bullshit in some sort of repressed corner of their subconscious being, then they can make up for it by liking the pledge even more. Unfortunately, that's a side effect of having your brain smashed with the sledgehammer of superstition everyday starting at age 5.

I'll vote Ron Paul because I couldn't live with myself if I voted for anyone else, but I'll root for Obama because anything he does will be blamed on Statism while anything Romney does will be blamed on Liberty, besides if Obama wins we only have four years before we can try again.

Imagine the engine of creativity and productivity that a Ron Paul presidency could unleash. Imagine a majority of Americans becoming real
Classic Liberals
even if not libertarian anarchists. Imagine a world watching a sick and dying country rejuvenate itself.
If the idea of freedom and liberty ever replaces the fascism that the USA believes in today and the country becomes a beacon of freedom again, we could see a changed world. So, yes, I will vote for Ron Paul no matter what come election day and then go back to not voting.

Local elections are more important than national ones. Look at cannabis ignoring the law locally makes it to where the Federal Law in unenforceable.

Yessir, the more I think about the more inclined I am to move to NH myself.

My state doesn't have write-in ballots, so if Ron Paul doesn't win the nomination, I won't be able to vote for him.

You sure can. Just bring a pen with and write it on there anyways. It will have exactly the same effect as if you officially wrote him in.
