Hey everyone I am curious if anyone on here known of any good Independent/alternative media sites where I can get news from, that are relatively unbiased, and accurate? And please, don't mention InfoWars or PrisonPlanet, since I have read those and am VERY skeptical of it's accuracy.

I don't think there's such thing as unbiased media. But Al Jazeera is fun to watch if you're in to television news.

Good point about unbiased media...I suppose I should correct that too "Not horribly biased against libertarianism/anarchism"... Anyway thanks for the mention of Al Jazeera....what if any political or apolitical viewpoint would you say Al Jazeera is biased toward, Conservatism? Liberalism? General Statism? Or perhaps libertarianism/anarchism?

Al Jazeera: democratic liberalism/leftism.

Besides Lew Rockwell, which I'm sure you're familiar with, there's also Natural News.com, Stefan's site, SHTF.com, Economic Collapse, Tom Woods.com, Drudge Report, Strike the Root, Antiwar.com, and...that's all of the sites that I can think of.

Also, I would still suggest IW and PP.com. Like or hate Alex, he's the top alternative radio host in the world.

I don't know man. Alex Jones is pretty biased. Actually, all of those sites you mentioned are pretty Libertarian biased.

That's the thing, though. There's no such thing as an unbiased form of media. Whether mainstream or alternative, every form of media has its own personal, political leanings. It's impossible to find one site that makes an attempt to combine left and right philosophies.

Can Wikileaks really be counted as a media site?

I agree with Randal, RT.com has very unbiased news and is good for breaking the 'Merican news blockade
