Juice Rap News

September 10th, 2012   Submitted by Seth King

I’m posting this today because there are potentially hundreds of Daily Anarchist readers that have never heard of Juice Rap News. They’re missing out! These guys not only have a great message, but they’re highly entertaining. If this is your first introduction to them and you like what you see, consider checking out their older videos. They’re also very good and you’ll be able to see how much better their quality has gotten over time. This is in large part due to their increased donation revenue. I pretty much send them some bitcoin every new episode that comes out, considering that their videos consistently give me goose bumps. Enjoy!

I’ve watched Juice Rap News before on your site, son, and THEY ARE GOOD! Even for an old broad like me.

“this internet, the one channel yet uncontrolled”?!

That remark may elicit a chuckle from neocons who are familiar with ICANN and with governments’ ability to take control of routers, servers, and fiber optic cable. The preoccupation with Tor, too, is cute. (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tor_(anonymity_network)#Weaknesses.) The people in charge, however, understand that he who controls the hardware controls the Internet. It works the same way when controling the PSTN. So an “essential task that stands before” this generation is to ensure strong private property rights. It wouldn’t hurt to develop an independent internet, too.

    Cool music, though.

Now, how about the following for a grand conspiracy theory? The developments of the Internet during the past twenty years or so were not necessarily intended to cultivate worldwide dependency upon Uncle Sam’s internet. Nor was there necessarily any intent to obtain greater control of the PSTN, which has seen a great deal of integeration with the Internet.

Nevertheless, many fish are now on the line, so Big Bother may as well set the hook and reel them in! It could take a few years, however, for a lot of line was paid out, and many of the fish are fighting, leaping out of the water, and so on. It must be exhausting for the poor fish, esp. for those who have no idea about what’s been going on in N. America for MORE THAN 235 YEARS.

    e pluribus pluribusque unum
