Anarcho-Capitalist Flags For Sale

January 26th, 2011   Submitted by Seth King

This prototype is just made of generic nylon, like most mass-produced flags sold today. My flags will be made from 100% hemp.

I am super excited to announce that I am now taking pre-orders for Anarcho-Capitalist flags! What’s even better is that the flags I am selling will be made of one hundred percent hemp linen fabric! All of these exclamation points are the result of months of preparation, and it’s finally here! Let me give you the story behind this.

Several months ago I was left frustrated after I had scoured the internet looking to purchase an anarcho-capitalist flag. Nobody sold them. If I wanted to get one I was going to have to make it myself, or mass order them from one of the many custom flag makers on the internet. The problem was that I didn’t know how to sew and if I ordered them online the only type of fabric they could be made from was nylon or polyester, and what’s more they would almost assuredly be made by people in China. You don’t really think those flag companies you see online make their products in America, do you?

Well, that just wasn’t going to do for me. The thought of our movement waving around a bunch of soulless flags made out of synthetic fabric by some people five thousand miles away that neither know of nor care about our movement did not sit well with me. So I convinced my mother to sew me a nylon prototype(seen above) to see if she would enjoy making high quality flags for our movement. After the materials arrived in the mail we discovered that my mother’s old sewing machine was no longer functional. So she invested in a nice, brand new sewing machine(seen below).

Twenty-first century Betsy Ross right here!

At first, I thought our flags should be made of one hundred percent cotton. But I couldn’t even find any custom flag makers who would sell cotton flags. It was a pathetic indictment of the so-called American industry. In retrospect, I am glad I didn’t find any custom cotton flags for sale because it later dawned on me that truly revolutionary flags deserve to be home-made and of hemp fabric. So, I found a distributor that will sell me large quantities of dyed hemp linen for reasonable prices. In fact, because I’m buying the pre-dyed fabric in bulk I feel confident in saying that you cannot make your own hemp flags cheaper or quicker than what I’m selling them for.  And you most definitely will not find custom made hemp flags for sale anywhere else.

I just can’t wait to see these flags flying at rallies, protests, and other events or locations where the free-market anarchist crowd has a presence. I’m also elated to know that these flags are going to be shipped in time for all of the summer activism that we know is coming this year.

I’m currently accepting pre-orders at reduced prices. Flags are scheduled to begin shipping during the month of May. Pre-order discount prices will not last forever so be sure to purchase your flag as soon as possible.

And in my attempt to convince you to make an anonymous payment I am offering another reduced price for those who pay in cash or silver through the mail. Please contact me for details. Otherwise you can order through Paypal now and be pleasantly surprised one day to find your flag has arrived.

I’m selling two different sizes of flags. The picture above is of a three foot by five foot flag. It’s fairly large when holding it and I would probably only recommend that size for hanging on an indoor wall or on a large flagpole. The other size I am offering is two feet by three feet and is much better suited for carrying around at rallies or attaching to your truck. Also, if for any reason you’re unhappy I will be glad to offer you a refund. But I think you’re going to be getting a lot of compliments on your unique, history-making, hemp flag. Shipping is included in the price. Add five dollars for shipping outside of the United States. Order now!

[Editor’s Note] The information in this article is now expired. I am now selling Market-Anarchist Gadsden flags instead.

I am curious about the origin and symbolism of the anarcho-capitalist flag.

    Please advise.

    Thanks.

It is my understanding that Robert LeFevre came up with this flag in the 1960’s. The black is for anarchism, and the yellow(or gold) is for capitalism. I’m not sure whose flag came first, but it is patterned after other anarchist flags, such as the anarcho-syndicalists, anarcha-feminists, anarcho-primitivists, etc.

Hemp sounds heavy. Will it “fly” in a breeze like nylon?

You can get varying degrees of hemp thickness. But yes, hemp flies quite well, much like cotton. But I’m actually not going to be selling these flags in hemp anymore, because there is too little demand. Shh! Don’t tell anybody, but in a few days I’m unveiling a slightly modified flag. I’ll post all about it in a few days.

I would like a Sons of Liberty flag made of hemp. Possible?

anarcho-capitalist is an oxymoron. make some red and black flags and stop promoting a system based on greed and exploitation.

Are you still making nd selling these flags? And for how much? Great idea, though I don’t agree with the user on top of me, it would also be interesting if you sold other anarcho flags . I’d imagine the black fly would be the easiest nd most sought!
